How it works
- Input signal closes relay
- HV power supply charges capacitors
- Input signal to relay removed, relay opened, HV supply can be removed
- Emitter retracted, position sensor sends pulses to One Shot circuit
- t_d later, One Shot circuit outputs signal to HV MOSFET circuit
- signal goes through ISO amp, op amp amplifies signal
- signal goes to MOSFET, allows current to flow to quickly change emitter bias
Other Stuff
- "Pause" one shot blocks new pulses for 1 second after first pulse
- "Length" one shot stops stignal to HV MOSFET circuit after 1 second
- Timing of one shots can be changed by changing potentiometer resistance
- 35.4 kOhm corresponds to t_d=21.6 ms, should vary proportionally
- Voltage divider allows voltage measurement
- OPA606 in white circuit takes +16V, -4V
